What
Ask ChatGPT or Claude for an app, tap "Send to Nino", and it's online with a link to share. You choose who can open it. Your Nino starts online today; a box to bring it home comes later.
Who
Families and individuals, for personal use and often for one occasion: Sophie and Marc's wedding replies, Lea's scout camp, the holiday house four siblings share. Not public websites, not businesses.
The problem
Anyone can now make an app by asking. But it stays stuck in the chat: no site of your own, no way to let only your guests in, and putting it online means servers and security.
Why it's worth making
A one-off app earns its place when it needs your own stuff (your guest list, your camp site), is one small feature that big apps make heavy, or doesn't exist at all. We listed 40 of them.
The edge
A shared chat link is a page inside an AI app. Nino gives every app a real address under your own name, and apps that do real things: guests reply and everyone sees who's coming, only invited people get in.
How it makes money
Nino is free and ad-free. The only thing we sell is your name: €59 for two years, one name for all your apps (wedding.martins.be, camp.martins.be…), then €24 a year only if you choose. Also as a gift card, and "give a year, get a year".
The numbers
Each name leaves €29.85 after VAT, the address itself and card fees. About 1,000 names a month cover €30k of monthly costs. It works if about 7 in 100 new Ninos buy a name; at 4% it needs about €650k and doesn't cover its costs within three years.
Getting known
Paid ads can't carry it: a buyer would cost €76–535. Nino grows from inside the chat, the "Made with Nino" badge on free apps, gifts, referrals, and short videos that show the sentence and the app it made.
Next
Christmas 2026: a gift pre-sale to test the price with real money. Early 2027: launch in Belgium and France. Later in 2027: Germany, the Netherlands and a gallery of apps to copy. The box: available soon, with a waiting list.
Biggest risks
Too few people buying a name, ChatGPT or Claude adding names of their own, and depending on their app directories to reach people.
